If you are not aware, our managing director Marc and his brother James are climbing Kilimanjaro this February in support of PAPYRUS, the national charity for the prevention of young suicide.
Marc and James will be flying out to Tanzania on Tuesday 21st February 2023 and will be starting the trek up Kilimanjaro on Thursday (23rd February), a trip that has been 3 years in the making!
Marc and James climbed Ben Nevis in September last year alongside family as a training exercise ahead of their climb next month, as well as increasing their exercise over the last couple of months to insure they are in top shape to climb the mountain.
Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under 35 in the UK. PAPYRUS is the national charity for the prevention of young suicide and believes that many young suicides are preventable. They operate HOPELINEUK, a confidential call, text, and email helpline for young people with thoughts of suicide or those concerned about a young person who may have thoughts of suicide.
Every £5 raised can help pay for a potentially life-saving contact to HOPELINEUK from a young person wanting to stay safe from their thoughts of suicide.
