Introducing Meko Electrical

Meko Electrical Services have been trading in Stroud and the surrounding areas since 2009.

In case you wondered if we are a family-orientated company or not, let us explain our name:
M = Marc, husband of Kirsty and father to Ella and Owen
e = Ella, daughter of Marc and Kirsty
K = Kirsty, wife of Marc and mother to Ella and Owen
o = Owen, son of Marc and Kirsty
Marc and his father Bryan started Meko in joint partnerships working as Electricians, as the business expanded and the workforce increased, Bryan then moved into the office dealing with the ever-growing pile of quotes and invoicing, leaving Marc to concentrate on the day-to-day running of the business.

As the years progressed and with an expanding workforce, Marc’s wife Kirsty then joined the team as an office administrator. With Bryan’s retirement pending, Marc then took more of a role in the office, dealing with all the business requirements, leaving Bryan free to retire in March 2016.

We moved in to our present premises in 2017 and currently employ a team of ten with one Contracts Manager, six qualified Electricians, one Compliance Tester and two Apprentices.

Fully Accredited Contractor

MeKo Electrical Services has achieved full approval as both an NICEIC Domestic Installer and an NICEIC Approved Contractor, and we are therefore a fully Accredited Contractor, officially licensed to undertake all Domestic, Commercial and Industrial works, from Design and Installation to Maintenance and Inspection.

We are also a fully insured company, holding Public Liability, Employers Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurances.

MeKo Electrical Services encourages energy-saving solutions during all of our designs and consultations. Promoting energy-saving lighting, less intrusive containment and wiring methods with both aesthetics and savings in mind.

Whenever possible we like to work closely and directly with our clients, rather than as sub-contractors, so that we can provide a personal touch.
